Little Wet Man

Boston loves to be outside, rain or shine.  The other day he was asking me incessantly to go outside, and it was pouring outside.  I finally had heard enough and let him.  I only lasted about 10 minutes, but I think he would have stayed out much longer if I let him.  He was soaked!  But I think he still enjoyed every minute of it.  He loves to play outside more than anything!

Quality Daddy Time

Boston has really been clinging to his dad lately.  I think he is getting sick of me, since we are just home (or at Nikki's) most days, not doing a whole lot of anything.  He looks forward to his "Daddy time" everyday and usually convinces Mark to take him outside, to parks, to ride his scooter, or to do anything active that he doesn't get to do with his home-bound mommy.  He is getting so big and is the cutest little boy.

A Major Breakthrough

Boston had a major breakthrough two Sundays ago.  And considering how the day started out (see Boston throwing a fit on the floor of the chapel overflow during church below) we didn't see it coming.

Boston decided, out of nowhere, that he wanted to hold Savannah for the first time.  And he totally loved the attention he got from it.  So dang cute.

This is him attempting to give her a kiss.

Are those cute kiddos or what?

Boston has been consistently more and more involved with his little sister.  He will rock her in her rocker now, kiss her, talk to her, etc.  I can't wait unitl she is a little bigger and can really enjoy her big brother.

Two Weeks Old

Here's some pictures of Savannah, around 2 weeks old.  She is growing faster than I can keep up with.  She has already grown out of several outfits, including this first one.  She is consistently out of the "newborn" items, and is wearing 0-3 months, some of which are getting tight.

Here's my sweet baby asleep on my bed.  I love how she has her back arched.  Boston used to do that in his sleep too.

Here's my little girl in her first church outfit.  She was so dang cute.

Trunk or Treat and Halloween

Mark and my mom took Boston to the Trunk or Treat at Nikki's ward. I was supposed to go with, but I seriously underestimated how much time it takes to get a 2-yr old, newborn, and myself ready. Long story short, I sent them without me and intended to meet up with them shortly after. One hour late, and I was still home, cleaning up Savannah, who had just projectile puked all over her costume. Nearly two hours later, I showed up, and Boston was ready to leave. So I didn't get to see any of his cuteness with the activities there. But here he is, nevertheless, sporting his costume that I made him. I wanted him to be a skeleton, since I bought Savannah a pink skeleton pajama outfit. But as they never got to wear them together (she puked all over hers on that day) it was kind of pointless.

Here he is coloring a picture for Halloween. He has gotten really into coloring lately. It's pretty cute to see his little hands at work. That is, when it's not all over our table and tile.

Here's my little cutie in his costume again.

He did a cake walk and got a cupcake for his endeavors. Needless to say, he kept wanting to go back.

Here's Savannah in her costume.  She didn't get to wear it to Trunk or Treat because she puked, and she didn't get to wear it on Halloween because it was in the dryer and not dry yet when it was time to go.  But we got a picture of her in it later anyway, since we went to the trouble of getting her one.  She was pretty dang cute in it, so that's all that matters, I guess.

Savannah's First Week

Here are some snapshots of the first week or so of Savannah's life. By a week and a half, she had regained her birth weight, plus some, weighing in at 8 lb 11 oz. I am sure she is well over 9 lb by now.

We cannot resist this sweet little girl and are so happy she came to join our little family!
