At the Zoo with Daddy

We got annual passes to the zoo awhile back, but we hadn't been back since. So Mark decided on his day off that he would take Boston for a little adventure. I was pretty impressed, as I never thought Mark would dare take on an all day outing without me. But they had so much fun. Look how excited Boston is to be going with Daddy!

Here's Boss checking out the animals. I love this kiddo!

Boston and Daddy had a great day. I foresee may more outings to come, since our weather here is so beautiful lately.

Gorgeous Golden Gate

It was such a gorgeous day on Sunday. Not a cloud in the sky. Warm, sunny, hard to believe it was February! After the beach we drove through Sausalito and headed to the Golden Gate Lookout. It was beautiful!

Boston's First Day At The Beach

We had so much fun at the beach this last Sunday. Boston absolutely loved it! He was so excited to get down and dig his little hands and feet into the sand. And he loved the water, too! He would laugh and laugh when the waves came up and got his toes. He would even try to stretch his feet out as far as he could to touch it when the waves didn't quite reach. He was so stinkin' cute!

I definitely think we will have to make this a recurring thing. It was so nice to actually get out and do something, and Boston had an absolute blast!

TV Time - Boston Style

Just a few more pics of Boston doing his favorite thing... I so regret buying this entertainment unit! If only I had the forethought. Ah, well...

Muir Beach Lookout

We have decided we need to start taking advantage of living so close to the beach, especially now that it is getting warm. So this Sunday after church, we headed out to Muir Beach, near Sausalito. We stopped off at this little lookout first, and it was gorgeous.
Boston loved getting to run around for a bit after our drive.
I love this picture of Mark and Boston.
Isn't the view gorgeous?

Meet Me In San Francisco!

A couple weeks ago, I was texting Cath, and I found out they were going to be flying to San Fran with Brent's work just for the afternoon the next day. So we ditched church (it was Stake Conference) and met them for clam chowder and a cable car ride.

It was great to see them, even just for a few hours. And Boston was so good! He fell asleep in his stroller while walking in Union Square. It was so nice, Mark and I got to shop in peace! I love this picture - this is what Boston always does when he's tired: plays with his hair and smells his blankie.

Here we are on the cable car ride back to the Pier. Boston was a little cranky on the ride there, but on the ride back (after his nap) he was totally working the crowd! He is so cute with people and always makes them smile. He talked, flirted, danced, clapped, you name it! He totally captured everyone on the car. Too cute!

Chocolate Conniption

So the other day, I am at work when I get a text from Mark. He tells me that when he and Boston woke up, he noticed we were out of milk. So he went to get some and noticed some yummy looking donuts at Safeway. So he picked out a dozen (all the while, Boston is watching him lay them in one by one, saying, "Num, num, num!") and drove home. He broke off a bite of a glazed one for Boston. Boston smacked Mark's hand away. So Mark figured he probably just wanted to feed it to himself. So he broke off a bigger piece and handed it to him. Boston threw it down on the floor and screamed at Mark, then slammed himself on the floor and buried his nose! So Mark figured, OK, I guess he doesn't want donuts. So he gave him cereal, at which Boston's tantrum only heightened. Boston kicked and screamed, all the while yelling for num nums. So Mark had the bright idea that maybe Boston wanted to pick out his own. Yep, that was it. He opened the box, and Boston picked out the messiest, chocolatiest one, and happily went to town...

Yum, yum! What a stinkerpot!

Daisy Love

So when we had Boston, I was convinced that Starkisha would be the one who'd always stay by his side. But it quickly became apparent that is was Daisy, which was shocking to us, as Daisy has always been so weird around anyone but Mark and me. This dog LOVES Boston. And Boston loves her, too.
It's so cute, Boston will just be sitting somewhere, and Daisy will come and jump into his lap and start cuddling into him.
Most of the time, Boston is really good with her and will just pet her. Sometimes he gets a little carried away though. So cute.

Parental Advisory: To all mom's of toddlers...

This is why furniture items should be securely fastened to the wall. Boston has taken up the habit of climbing into the drawer of the entertainment unit. It was secured to the wall with heavy duty molly's. His constant climbing pulled the molly's clean out of the drywall (and no, I don't LET him do this... I turn my back for two seconds, and it happens). So we went and bought a stud locator, and now the unit is bolted in so tight, I wonder whether we'll be able to undo it when we move out!
You can't really tell from the picture, but that drawer is suspended several inches above the ground! Guess this is why these types of items have cautions on them. Geez!

More Christmas Pics

We had a bunch of pics on the iPhone that we hadn't downloaded yet, but I wanted to post them. So here's some more Christmas Day pics!
