Savvy was blessed here in Brentwood, and we had a great family turnout! My mom was able to come, as well as Mark's dad, two uncles Ken, and aunt Sue. Of course, Nikki, John, and the kids were there too! It was so nice to have family.
Mark's Grandma made this beautiful blessing blanket for Savannah. It was gorgeous!
Here's my girl in all her froo-froo glory!

Savannah was such an angel this day. Boston was not. It was partially our fault, as in our hurry to get to church, we forgot his night night. And we all know what happens when he doesn't have that. So he was a screaming nightmare. My mom had to stay out in the hall with him. Luckily, his nursery leader came to relieve my mom so she could see the blessing. Funny though, my mom was hesitant to let her take him, since she didn't know her. She said, "Oh, I'm his nursery leader." And Boston seemed willing to go with her. So she let her take him. Meanwhile, during the blessing, Bossie's leader took him to go get some toys from the nursery room so he would be happy. When my mom went to go get Boston back after the blessing, Boston and his leader were MIA. So she searched room after room, in a panic to find him. Meanwhile, as she was searching, his leader brought Boston to me. Only Boston was such a turd, that he threw himself on the ground in a fit, so when my mom peeked in to look to see if we had him, it appeared that we did not. So she was totally freaking out! She kept looking all over, and I think was about to come and tell us he had been kidnapped, when she finally saw his nursery leader, who mouthed to her, "He's over there..." So she looked, and saw him. So, what's a blessing day without drama? Besides the fact that our bishop was out of town and forgot to tell them that there was to be a baby blessing! Oh well, it all worked out!
