Boston has been up to some pretty cute/funny things lately. We thought we'd post just a few of his Boston-isms.
Mark and I have been trying to get him to count, but he has no interest. Until the other day... Mark says, "Boston, one... two..." Boston says, "No!" Suddenly Mark has an idea. He says, "OK, Boston, un... deux... trois..." Boston starts to giggle, and then repeats (in French) his numbers one through ten. Silly boy, we still can't get him to do it in English. Darn Disney Junior!
In my car, I have bluetooth, which I use a lot for hands-free driving (which is the only LEGAL type of car phone use in California). Well, I guess Boston has heard me use it one too many times, because every time we get in the car, he exclaims, "Call Mark!" This has recently been lengthened to, "Bossie, call Mark!"
When I drop off Boston at Nikki's house, I often call out, "Hey, Nik?" if I can't immediatley locate her. Boston now randomly calls out, "Hey, Nik?" at the grocery store, mall, Target, and most people's homes.
Boston loves Mickey Mouse (has pretty much since day one) and refers to it as "Hot Dog, Hot Mouse" when he wants to watch it.
Boston has recently taken a liking to the show "Glee" and will totally tune in for all the songs. It is seriously the cutest thing ever.
Boston has recently become very defiant when going to bed. This is new to us, as he has always been a very willing sleeper. Lately, he yells and screams for a few minutes, followed by knocking on his door and yelling out, "Hello???" Then he retires to his closet, shuts himself in, kicks the doors, and often falls asleep there. Rarely do we find him in his bed.
This boy is still so attached to his blankie. He not only needs it for bed time and nap time, but also for lunch time, play time, basically any time. I think he might just love his blankie just as much as he loves me!
